About Rohto Dry Aid
Rohto Dry Aid – from Rohto - a world leading eyecare brand, is an advanced all-in-one "dry" eye relief formulation which hydrates, restores and protects. It is a clear, refreshing eye drop for the temporary relief of dry, sore, itchy, burning, stinging, gritty, tired, irritated sensations caused by “dry" eye. Rohto Dry Aid eye drops can be used throughout the day/night as needed.
Rohto Dry Aid is a clinically proven advanced formulation which targets dry spots that appear on the surface of the eye due to tear film breakup. Its TEARSHIELD TECHNOLOGY® restores and lubricates the natural tear film, for long-lasting relief and protection from the symptoms of “dry" eye - a condition brought about by tear film instability.
For comfort and effectiveness, Rohto Dry Aid is designed to mimic natural tears and its ingredients work on the different layers of the tear film to stabilize it and restore its natural function. This alleviates symptoms and normal vision is restored.
Unique ingredients have been selected to mimic the properties of the natural tear film. The Sesame Oil, Polyoxyethylene Castor Oil and Polyoxyl Stearate help to supply and stabilize the lipid layer, which helps tear stabilization and prevent tear evaporation. The Povidone, Propylene Glycol and Poloxamer, work on the muco-aqueous layer which enhance its physical function, such as water holding and friction reduction.
